Iranian officials and a technical delegation from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) started their third round of negotiations at Iran's Atomic Energy Organization (IAEO) in Tehran on Monday. An Iranian official told IRNA that Herman Nackaerts, director for regional department of Safeguards Operation, heads the IAEA delegation, while Ali-Asghar Soltanieh, Iran's permanent envoy to IAEA, chairs Iranian team in this round of negotiations.

Technical delegations of both sides held talks about two weeks ago from April 28-30.
Following the release of a report by IAEA Director General Mohamed ElBaradei on February 22, the first round of technical talks between Iran and IAEA was held, headed by Olli Heinonen, deputy director general and head of Department of Safeguards.
