Iran's Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi arrived in
Turkmenistan on Tuesday to review matters of joint interest and central regional and international issues.
Kharrazi, heading a delegation, was welcomed by his Turkmen counterpart Rashid Meredov. The foreign minister is accompanied by Iran's special envoy for Caspian Sea Affairs Mehdi Safari and a number of Foreign Ministry officials, according to IRNA news agency.
During his one-day visit, Kharrazi is scheduled to hold
meetings with Turkmenistan's President Saparmurat Niyazov and Meredov. (Albawaba.com)
