In preparation for the Dubai premiere of Quidam ™, starting on January 4 2007 and presented by The Palm, Cirque du Soleil® is inviting cameramen and photographers to a dress rehearsal taking place on January 3 2007 at 8 pm in the Grand Chapiteau (big top), located adjacent to Ibn Battuta Mall.
We advise all photographers and cameramen to arrive by 7 pm, and join us in the Tapis Rouge tent, where they will need to sign a release form before viewing the show.
Quidam lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes with a 30-minute intermission.
Since this is an event exclusively dedicated to image collection, reporters are not permitted at the dress rehearsal.
NB: Photographers and cameramen will be seated in the plateau; hence they must remain in their seats at all times during the show.
The photos must be taken without flash and the video images with no additional light.
For safety reasons both artists and direction request all camera “tallies” to be disconnected.
