A total of six cities are targeted for development under the TAMM initiative, including Madinat Zayed, Mirfa, Ghayathi, Silaa, Liwa and Delma Island, with the future branches opening within the next few years. The key objectives of the initiative are to improve the provision of government services, develop a new governance model and evaluate possible levers to spur economic development.
Injazat Data Systems is working in association with WRM to develop a flexible and responsive IT environment for the Delma Island Centre and future branches. Services provided by Injazat include desktop support, service desk, distributed systems management, network monitoring, data centre operations and project management.
“The systems and applications integrated into the TAMM Centre consistently provide 99.5 per cent uptime, enabling thousands of transactions each year. Injazat is delighted to contribute to the achievement of dramatic service improvements through effective, accessible and centralised service delivery, indirectly supporting the development of the Western Region’s economy,” said Ibrahim Mohamed Lari, Chief Executive Officer, Injazat Data Systems.
“The TAMM initiative has successfully spearhead the transformation and economic and social development of Abu Dhabi’s Western Region,” Lari added.
Government Departments associated with the TAMM centre include the Emirates ID Authority, Abu Dhabi Police, General Authority for Health Services, Notary Public, Ministry of Social Affairs, Ministry of Labour, Abu Dhabi Municipality, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Naturalisation and Residency Administration, Abu Dhabi Distribution Company, Etisalat, Abu Dhabi Department of Economy and Planning, Emirates Post, National Bank of Abu Dhabi, ATM, E-Dirham and the National Health Insurance Company.
