The India Prsident, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam has condoled the passing away of the President of the Palestine National Authority, Mr. Yasser Arafat in Paris Thursday.
In his condolence letter to the Speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council and Acting President of the Palestinian National Authority, Mr. Rawhi Fattouh, Dr. Kalam has said, “President Arafat who was an enduring symbol of Palestinian nationhood selflessly devoted his whole life for achieving the legitimate aspirations and hopes of the Palestinian people. He was greatly admired for his courage and sacrifice not only by the Palestinian people but also by peace loving people in the Arab region and throughout the world."
