The Indian border state Punjab has signed a contract with Dubai and Sri Lanka under which the state will export wheat and potato to these countries, according to Tribune News Service.
Punjab Chief Minister, Parkash Singh Badal, was quoted as saying that the state government would export four lakh tons each of wheat and potato to these countries to stabilize the commodities’ market in Punjab – Albawaba.com
