Imdaad, the UAE's leading Facilities Management solutions provider, announced today (October 24) that it has introduced to offices in Dubai one of the most attractive and potentially effective recyclable waste bins to mark Arab Environment Day.
The designer three-in-one multi-colored bins are egg-shaped and built from an eco-friendly fiberglass body. Each comes with separate compartments to collect paper, aluminum and plastics.
The ergonomically designed trash holders have been developed specially by Imdaad keeping in mind the focussed applications required in high profile corporate offices and similar workplaces.
Each bin has three colour-coded trap doors with clear markings: Blue for paper, yellow for metal cans and green for plastics, making it easier for users to dispose of their trash swiftly and unmistakably.
Jamal Abdullah Lootah, Chief Executive Officer, Imdaad, said:
"In line with our commitment to better the environment around us, recycling initiatives are of paramount importance to Imdaad.
Segregation of recyclable refuse is not a new idea, but it has always been a challenge to set up optimally sized bins to collect the garbage, especially in modern corporate office environments. So we thought long and hard about the issue and came up with a solution that is esthetically appealing, blends in well with office interiors, does not occupy much space, and is easy to use for busy executives and workers. The result is our three-in-one egg-shaped collection points. We believe everyone will love it".
The state-of-the-art oblong bins, easily identifiable by the Imdaad logo, will be located in select commercial buildings and wherever there is demand for them.
The bins also come with logistics support from Imdaad, whose highly-trained employees will collect the recyclable items and dispose of them as required.
The designer recycle bins are the latest initiative from Imdaad, which has been taking the message of recycling to school children across the UAE through its Beati campaign with great success since early 2009.
Imdaad has also been successfully organizing recycling programs in various communities, such as Palm Jumeirah, The Gardens, Burj Khalifa, International City, and Al Reef Villas in Abu Dhabi, where occupants are encouraged to recycle through awareness programs, door hangings leaflets, brief meetings, etc,
The response from the public has been very positive with considerable increase in volume of recyclable garbage collection.
