Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities management solutions in the UAE, has today (December 01, 2010) announced the winners of Be'ati 2010, the flagship CSR initiative of Imdaad launched in 2009 to create awareness about the environment and recycling of waste among school children. Over 30 schools all over the UAE were represented in the second edition of the annual event.
A presentation on the lifetime commitment of H.H. the late Sheikh Zayed to protect the UAE's environment was also held during the event. The presentation also shed light on the environmental focus of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who initiated environment-related regulations in 2007 and unveiled the federal government strategy, which has a core message of ensuring sustainable development.

The culminating program of Be'ati 2010 was attended by His Excellency Rashid Ahmed Bin Fahad, UAE Minister of Environment and Water, in addition to senior officials from Bee'ah, Knowledge and Human Development Authority, major UAE-based corporations and the management of Rashid Centre Management.
Be'ati 2010 recognised the creations of six school children aged 6 to 10 years during the event. The winners of the Be'ati 2009-2010 season were Lana Al Jayouchi, ElYazia Ahmad Mohamad Al Heili, Mouza Mattar Ali Saeed, Hamda Rashid Obiend Ali and Tasneem Sherif, while the Be'ati Outstanding Effort award was presented to Roudha Mahmood Rasheed. A Be'ati Recognition Award was also given to Imdaad's Salama Mahmood Rasheed for her tireless enthusiasm and contributions to the Be'ati initiative since its inception.
All entries went through three rounds of judging. Criteria for the first round were time taken and relevance to topic; the round-two criteria were creative design and originality; and round three focused on the entry's concept.
