IEC launches Process Plant & Machinery Middle East Exhibition
International Expo Consults teams up with DMG World Media to bring two new-to-market shows, dedicated to chemical and petrochemical sector, to Dubai
Following an increase in the demand for process technology and equipment for the petrochemicals and chemicals industry in the Middle East, market leading exhibition specialists International Expo Consults (IEC), is to launch an exclusive event catering to this important industry sector. Process Plant & Machinery Middle East will showcase the latest technologies and cutting edge products of the industry when it launches alongside the ChemSpec exhibition, taking place December 7-8, 2009 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Running alongside the international ChemSpec chemicals exhibition, organised by DMG World Media, this specialist exhibition will fill the complementary niche market of the Process, Plant and Machinery sector of the chemical and petrochemical industry.
The show will focus on new market breakthroughs, joint venture deals, and new product exposure, as well as providing insights into potential market opportunities. IEC believes Process Plant & Machinery Middle East will see many on-site orders, new supply contracts, distributor partnerships and strategic alliances all formed at the show.
IEC is well placed to bring Process Plant & Machinery Middle East to success. The company has organized exhibitions for many years and has now combined its market strength with DMG to bring the combined ChemSpec and Process Plant & Machinery Middle East to the market.
“We are delighted to be working in co-operation with DMG and believe that this will only bring benefits to exhibitors and visitors alike. We have changed the profile of our exhibition to better suit the needs of the industry. PPME, alongside the ChemSpec exhibition, will provide a one-stop-shop for all involved in the Chemicals industry,” says Abdul Rehman Falaknaz, President of IEC.
“The Process Plant & Machinery exposition will provide visitors with direct access to equipment, systems and services by the most innovative suppliers — companies who can help improve product quality, lower operating costs, and increase efficiency,” he explained.
A simplified registration process, which will allow visitors to register for both shows, will see one badge enabling visitors to move freely between the two shows.
The Middle East is the most dynamic Chemical & Petrochemical production centre in the world, with the majority of output being targeted towards world markets.
Investment in the region’s US $56 billion Petrochemical & Chemical sectors is growing at over 10% annually and, as the UAE continues to invest heavily in its petrochemical industry, the capacity is expected to increase threefold, which opens up opportunities in the downstream end use processing sector.
