Ibn Battuta Mall, the largest themed mall in the Middle East, has today revealed details of its Dubai Shopping Festival calendar of events, featuring a host of activities designed to enthral, mesmerize and entertain both shoppers and tourists alike over the 45 day festival.

Inspired by the forthcoming Cirque du Soleil taking place in the mall grounds from 4-21 January 2007, this year’s celebrations will present an artistic spectacle combining a unique blend of family fun together with the drama of the theatre, world class performing arts, interactive games and spectacular prizes under the one roof.

“As host to one of the most creative shows on earth, we wanted to celebrate the arts through performance, magic and design. We believe that we have created a truly unforgettable DSF that all visitors in Dubai must come and experience, whether it is to shop, eat or play,” said Colin Fenton, Mall Manager, Ibn Battuta Mall.

Laila Suhail, DSF Chief Marketing Officer, commented: “This time the 45 days long special edition of DSF 2006-2007 comes under the World of Festivals theme which encompasses hundreds of entertaining events. As Dubai’s leading shopping destination and our key sponsor Ibn Battuta Mall has lined up a number of enthralling events that will be liked by the shoppers and will definitely add extra value to the DSF concept of shopping, winning and entertainment.”
