HP has won the Best Vendor Award and the Best Marketing Program Award at the Digital Consumer Channel (DCC) Conference held in Fujairah, UAE, the first event of its kind which capitalises on regional growth in digital consumer technology by providing leading IT vendors with direct access to more than 120 senior executives from retailers and channel partners. The event was attended by 43 vendors and 290 participants.
“HP has been at the forefront of growth in digital consumer technology, so we are delighted that this new event has recognised HP’s role in differentiating, breaking away and leading the way for our channel partners. The market is demanding that technology is simple, manageable and adaptable and nobody understands that better than HP,” commented Leila Fakih, Consumer Sales Manager – Imaging and Printing Group, HP Middle East
Explaining HP’s participation at the new event, Fakih continued, “HP’s channel partners are invaluable in fuelling the growth in digital technologies, and combined with HP’s support, incentives and award-winning marketing programmes for the channel, we are creating ever-more rewarding relationships between the vendor, channels and both business customers and consumers.  HP has established innovative ways to purchase products through petrol stations and music stores and we can look to even more diverse opportunities in the future based on the contacts made at this event.”
