According to a statement released by Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree, the group launched a drone strike on a military site in the Tel Aviv area, specifically in the occupied Jaffa region.

ALBAWABA- The Houthi group, officially known as Ansar Allah, has announced a series of new military operations targeting both Israel and U.S. naval forces in the Red Sea.

According to a statement released by Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree, the group launched a drone strike on a military site in the Tel Aviv area, specifically in the occupied Jaffa region.

In addition, Saree claimed that Houthi forces targeted two American destroyers in the Red Sea using cruise missiles and drones.

He declared that these attacks are part of an ongoing campaign that will not stop until Israel ends its assault on Gaza and lifts the blockade, and the United States halts what he described as "aggression" against Yemen.

The statement follows another announcement made yesterday by the Houthis, in which they claimed responsibility for a major military operation in the northern Red Sea.

In that operation, Houthi forces reportedly engaged with U.S. warships, including the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman, and targeted its support vessel using a combination of cruise missiles and drones.

These developments mark a significant escalation in the Houthis' regional military activities, broadening their operational focus from the Red Sea to include direct attacks on Israeli territory.

The group’s leadership reiterated its commitment to continued strikes unless both the humanitarian siege on Gaza and American military involvement in Yemen are brought to an end.
