ALBAWABA - Hamas negotiators in Cairo revealed that they have received a new proposal to end the ongoing war in Gaza, a Palestinian official said Monday.

AFP cited the Palestinian official, who said that the new suggested agreement calls for a 60-day truce and hostage release in two batches.

"The proposal is a framework agreement to launch negotiations on a permanent ceasefire," said the official, who preferred not to unveil their identity, adding that "Hamas will hold internal consultations among its leadership" and with leaders of other Palestinian factions to study and respond to the suggested deal.
