H2Oh! Sparkling Water Now Available in the Jordanian Market
In celebration of the launch of its newest product line, H2Oh! sparkling water, PepsiCo-Jordan held a launch ceremony yesterday (Tuesday) at Grand Hyatt Amman, to which it invited a number of the Kingdom's most prominent local media representatives. PepsiCo's new, light and subtly flavored sparkling water, which is available in the flavors of mandarin and lemon-lime, is the first local product of its kind in the country, and comes in accordance with the company's expansion plans as well as its mission of offering the Jordanian market the latest and most innovative products.
Mr. Tuncer Akgun, PepsiCo General Manager, welcomed the attendees of the ceremony and affirmed the company's interest in maintaining its strong relationship with the local press, highlighting the important role they play in acquainting the Jordanian public with PepsiCo's commodities. He also spoke of the unique characteristics of H2Oh!, through which PepsiCo aims to present to the Jordanian consumer a model for products which employ the best technological and production practices, and adhere to the highest international standards of purification and quality control in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.
Mr. Akgun further elaborated on the merits of H2Oh!, which combines the wholesome benefits of sparkling water, the delicious taste of soft drinks, and answers the growing global interest in healthy beverages, as it is sugar-free.
"We are very proud of the diversified range of products that we offer, which distinguishes our operations and confirms our ongoing dedication to catering to the needs of the market through providing new and innovative commodities," he commented. "We are very optimistic about this product in particular, as we expect it to be met with great success and enthusiasm from the Jordanian consumer."
Mr. Amjad Amireh, PepsiCo's Quality Control & Production Manager, also conducted a general presentation, clarifying to the attendees the different treatment and production phases that H2Oh! undergoes.
