Gulf Air will be joining in the celebrations of St Andrew's Night as one of the main sponsors. The airline will be flying in UK's popular band, 'Rusty Nail' to entertain guests at the celebrations slated for 22 November.
Organised by the Bahrain Caledonian Society (BCS) and the Awali Caledonian Society (ACS), the St. Andrew's Night will see a programme of events that include live entertainment by Rusty Nail band, Scottish bagpiper music, a Scottish dance band, besides a gala dinner.
Gulf Air is also giving away two return tickets from Bahrain to London to lucky winners of a raffle on the occasion.
"As the only pan-Arab airline with direct flights to Ireland in addition to daily flights to London from Bahrain and Muscat, Gulf Air is pleased to associate itself with events that celebrate such important occasions," says Gulf Air Vice President Marketing and Sales Lee Shave.
"Gulf Air has firmly established itself as an airline of choice in the UK market. The recent "Best Business Airline" award we won at the British Travel Awards in London is a proof of this. We will continue to strive harder to retain that position and further enhance our services to the UK community in Bahrain."
St Andrew is the Patron Saint of Scotland, and St. Andrew's Day is celebrated by Scots around the world on 30 November rejoicing Scottish culture and heritage.
