Tales of A Thousand And One Nights
Tales of A Thousand And One Nights date from the medieval Islamic period and are deemed a mixture of Persian, Arab and Indian culture and folklore.  Sheharazade, the narrator of the tales marries King Shahriyar who beheads his brides after the wedding night.  In order to preserve her life, Sheharazade strikes a bargain with the king that he will not put her to death until she has told him a story.  Night after night, she keeps him in suspense, thus earning herself a stay of execution for two years and 271 days.

Ali Baba And The Forty Thieves
Just outside the Gates of Baghdad lives our poor yet happy hero, Ali Baba. One day on his way to chop wood in the forest at the foot of the mountains, he witnesses a band of thieves hiding treasure in a secret cave. He overhears the magic password, ‘OPEN SESAME’ and decides to help himself to just a small amount of the treasure.
Unfortunately, Ali Baba has a wicked, greedy brother, Kassim, who, upon seeing that Ali has such riches, wants lots for himself. Unfortunately, Kassim is found by the thieves and killed.
When the thieves find out that Ali Baba also has some treasure, they hatch a plan to kill him too! However, Ali’s servant is far too clever for the thieves and saves the day.
