Samsung Electronics, a market leader in consumer electronics, ended its GITEX 2006 participation on a very successful and high note that saw the presence of top-level executives from its Korean Headquarters who flew down especially for the six-day event.
The nearly 700 sqm Samsung booth (double the size in comparison to Gitex 2005) generated non-stop excitement among the crowds, which thronged to see the latest products unveiled for the first time by the consumer electronics company and also the fun and games section set up for Samsung mobile phone owners.
Chi Won Suh, President and CEO of the Samsung Middle East & Africa Headquarters office said, “We are delighted with the response we received not only from our customers, but also from trade visitors who were honoured to see some of our guest VIPs from Korea. We had lots of interested visitors and for us it has been a big success. We look forward to continuing this momentum into GITEX 2007.”
According to company representatives, Samsung booth received thousands of visitors during the six days of activity, which is an impressive result.
