German Finance Minister Hans Eichel Saturday called on all oil-producing countries to boost output to preserve global growth.
"All and not only OPEC countries should raise production so as not to endanger global growth," said Eichel following a meeting in Prague of finance ministers from the Group of Seven (G7) industrialized nations.
The recent surge in world oil prices was to have figured high on the agenda for the meeting.
The G7 comprises Britain, France, Canada, Italy, the United States, Japan and Germany -- PRAGUE (AFP)
