US-Polish relations are good and will remain so after George W. Bush becomes US president, former Polish foreign minister Bronislaw Geremek said Thursday.
"There are many close Polish-American interests. Whoever is president of the United States, relations between Poland and the United States are and will remain good," Geremek was quoted as saying by PAP news agency.
Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski, an ex-communist, has not yet issued a public statement congratulating Bush on his election as the 43rd US president -- WARSAW (AFP)
