Dubai, September 25, 2010: The fourth edition of Middle East Pool and Spa begins today in Dubai, playing host to some of the biggest names in the global pool and spa industry. The event is designed to offer a unique opportunity to network and build new business within the most dynamic spa market in the world with an estimated value of $10 billion per annum.

Organized by Reed Exhibitions Middle East, the event will be held from 26th to 28th of September at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center.

The region as a whole has seen a massive trend towards the well-being experience, expanding on an established market for pool and spa equipment and facilities. Dubai itself has become a global phenomenon for the sector – a home for a young and multicultural population with high disposable income, cosmopolitan influences, modern lifestyles and image-conscious attitudes.

Since 2004, the event has gathered thousands of industry professionals and stakeholders in Dubai to witness advancements in products and innovations in the industry, positioning ME Pool and Spa as the sector's only dedicated show in the region.

The event set host for leading industry players such as Astral Middle East FZE, Abdullah Bin Taleb Commercial & Industrial Co., Arctic Spas, Compass, Azur System General Trading, Certikin International Ltd., Aqua Middle East FZCO, Al Kharafi Swimming Pools, OSF Hansjürgen Meier GmbH & Co. KG, A-Technologies FZCO, Acqua Source S.A., HornerXpress Worldwide Inc., and Pahlen AB.

ME Pool & Spa is being held for three days and will introduce the The National Swimming Pool Foundation to the Arabian Gulf audience through hosting the well-renowned Certified Pool Operators Course.  The course is designed to provide individuals with the basic knowledge, techniques, and skills of pool and spa operations. The Certified Pool/Spa Operator® certification program has delivered more training than any other program in the pool and spa industry since 1972, resulting in more than 240,000 successful CPO® certifications in 44 countries. The course will be held within the exhibition halls, and registration is open for audience online at www.mepool.com

More than 70 exhibitors from 20 countries are taking part in the event, including manufacturers, distributors and providers of pool and spa products and services.  The event is expected to attract more than 3,500 international trade visitors and private individuals including industry decision-makers from the GCC countries, Middle East and the North African region.
