FlyYeti.com, Nepal’s first low-cost carrier (LCC), today launched non-stop service between Kathmandu, the carrier’s global hub, and Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital. The airline, which will provide service between the two cities five times per week, recently commenced service to Sharjah, UAE, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The inaugural flight landed in Abu Dhabi Airport today (February 6, 2008) and was received by the Nepali Ambassador in the UAE along with officials from FlyYeti.com and Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), the owner and operator of Abu Dhabi International Airport.
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, flights will depart Kathmandu at 23:00PM and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 2:25AM the following morning. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, flights will depart Abu Dhabi at 3:15AM and arrive in Kathmandu at 8:55AM.

FlyYeti.com was launched on January 20, 2008, in Kathmandu – Air Arabia’s newest hub – with the aim of providing affordable and convenient service to a broad range of international destinations across South and Central Asia, the Far East, the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent.
