First strategic Middle East forum for data centers to debut at Abu Dhabi’s Injazat Auditorium
Over 35 speakers to discuss state of region’s IT markets at Data Centre Strategies Middle East 2009
Injazat Data Systems, the leading information technology and business process managed services provider in the UAE and the Middle East, has announced that it will host the inaugural Data Centre Strategies Middle East 2009 forum running from June 2 to 3, 2009 at its newly-built Injazat Auditorium.
The region’s first strategic forum for data centers will gather more than 35 speakers and 13 regional and international partner companies to discuss vital IT issues and trends, including cloud computing, cooling strategies, virtualization, next-generation data centre design, and effective business models and pricing strategies. It will also provide a comparative analysis of data centre markets across the Middle East and other regions. The event, which is under the patronage of Injazat, will be highlighted by the first data centre CEO panel for the Middle East.
“This inaugural forum provides an excellent platform for the IT community to specifically address the problems, opportunities, and unique characteristics of the Middle East’s rapidly growing data centre business. The CEO panel in particular will provide attendees with valuable insights
on the data centre market’s status and future directions. Aside from the business aspects of data centre operations, the forum will also explore environment-friendly operational approaches that can complement stringent “green” policies enforced by Middle Eastern states. Dr. Bob Sullivan, a global expert on cooling and efficient data centre solutions, will chair a special session on the subject. Other key topics include future power strategies, service and outsourcing demand and strategies for growth, managed services, and the investment outlook for data centres. As the owner of the region’s first Tier IV design-certified data centre, Injazat has been leading industry efforts to maximize the potential of the data centre segment.
