The Nissan Grand Raffle, one of the major raffle highlights of the 15th edition of DSF, witnessed its first draw at Global Village on Friday, Jan 29, at 10pm. A shopping-linked promotion and sponsored by the AW Rostamani Group, shoppers who make a purchase at participating shopping malls and from Eppco and Enoc fuel stations will be eligible to participate in the raffle. A shopper can effectively receive a coupon when making a purchase as low as AED 20.
Alfredo Miranda, from Philippines, became the first winner of the Nissan raffle in 2010 when the ticket bearing the number 29264 was picked as the winning coupon. The following day, Alfredo went up the stage at Global Village to pick the Xtrail as his winning car.
“I am extremely delighted with the winning and also to be the first winner of the Nissan Grand Raffle this year. I have been in Dubai for the past ten years and I have shopped during DSF but have never won. This year, I simply bought a phone card from EPPCO fuel station without even thinking of winning, but I did!,” said Alfredo.
As per the raffle, one lucky winner will take home the keys to a brand new Nissan SUV from a list of seven such models including the Patrol, Armada, Murano, Pathfinder, Xterra, Qashqai, and Xtrail. On the weekend, three lucky shoppers will have the chance to win a Nissan model each from four models – Tiida, Altima, Xtrail, and Qashqai. A total of 43 winners will drive home Nissans by the end of DSF 2010.
