A lucky summer begins as Dubai Duty Free announced its first winner of Dubai Duty Free’s Summer Surprise promotion which offers travelers the chance to win Dhs 175,000 in shopping vouchers. During the 7-weeks DSS period, Dubai Duty Free customers spending Dhs 500 and above will have the chance to win Dhs 25,000 worth of Dubai Duty Free gift vouchers every week.
The first winner of this summer promotion is Mr. Paul Manuel, a Filipino seaman living in the Philippines. Mr. Manuel, the holder of coupon no. 020181 purchased some gold items for his wife as he transited in Dubai on his way back home from Turkey June 20th.
For this promotion, Dubai Duty Free has teamed up with fellow DSS sponsor, MasterCard and for the duration of the promotion, MasterCard holders spending Dhs 500 or more double their chances of winning the weekly prize.
The draw was officiated by Dubai Duty Free managing team namely: Mr. Ramesh Cidambi – Director, IT & Logistics, Mr. Nic Bruwer, Manager – Human Resources, Mr. Bernard Creed, Financial Controller and Mr. Sultan Hamad Alzaabi of the Dubai Economic Department.
