There is room for the euro to rise by at least 20 percent, French Finance Minister Laurent Fabius, who currently chairs meetings of EU finance ministers, said on Thursday.
Fabius spoke shortly after the euro had fallen to a second low point in early trading on Thursday, slumping to 0.8230 dollars.
An increase of 20 percent, as suggested by Fabius, would increase the exchange rate to 0.9876 dollars -- PARIS (AFP)
