Libyan leader Moamer Gaddafi has agreed to boost cooperation with the European Union to curb the flow of illegal migrants from North Africa, an E.U. spokesman said Sunday, SPA reported.
He said the agreement came in a telephone conversation Gaddafi had with E.U. Commission President Romano Prodi, who had told Gaddafi a solution could be found only by signing a pact with the E.U.
