eSense, the leading provider of IT-based business solutions, recently collaborated with the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MoICT) and the non-profit organization Intaj to host an internship program for fresh Jordanian graduates with IT and telecom backgrounds.

The ministry had organized this program with the objective of securing jobs to fresh graduates in a rather competitive job market, particularly graduates who possess strong professional and personal skills. The 18-month program was dubbed the Graduate Internship Program (GIP), and was launched in May of this year.

eSense’s role in this collaboration is to hire a group of fresh graduates with the aforementioned backgrounds, allowing them a generous head-start into the job market by providing them with adequate training, good knowledge and an overall unique professional experience.

Commenting on this initiative, eSense’s CEO Samer Maslamani said: “We are proud to participate in the Graduate internship program which will help increase the interest of potential employees in our sector. It’s a great opportunity offered by MoICT and Intaj for the Jordanian IT industry to reach its objectives.”

eSense had garnered a reputation for harvesting and developing the cream of the crop of Jordan’s talented youths. Over the last year alone, the company’s team had grown from 100 to more than 200 employees, many of whom were headhunted and trained by the company. eSense had also participated in the 2009 Injaz Job Fair – a non-profit initiative designed to inspire and prepare Jordanian youth, and enhance their opportunities to join the job market as qualified employees and entrepreneurs.
