Siemens Home and Office Communication Devices (SHC) today launched two new DECT phones to meet everyday calling needs with comfort and ease. The Gigaset AL180 and the Gigaset AL185 come with an integrated answering machine. Both the devices impress with their ease of use functionality and elegant design. Every button touch can be felt thanks to the the high-quality polydome keypad with optimized pressure points. Further highlights of these models are the brilliant sound quality and talk times of up to 25 hours.
These new phones come with a nice feature set. Such features include an illuminated display and an integrated phonebook with space for up to 40 entries. The call list stores the last 25 accepted dialed and missed calls. If a caller’s contact data has already been stored in the phonebook and the CLIP function is enabled, the display shows the caller's name as well.
Siemens’ innovative HSP (High Sound Performance) technology ensures voice transmission free of interference and disruption. It is an ideal aspect for households with several people as upto four handsets can be registered on the Gigaset’s base station. The Gigaset AL185’s integrated answering machine can record up to 12 minutes of messages and can be operated from both the handset and the base station.
Less power consumption, lower transmitting power
With state-of-the-art switched-mode power supplies, the new Gigaset phones save energy and permit variable reduction of the transmitting power – by up to 100 percent in idle or recharging mode. Good energy management and powerful batteries enable talk times of up to 25 hours and a standby time of up to 210 hours.
