National Bonds Corporation created its second millionaire during Saturday’s live draw. Holder of the winning bond, AAA424734 Mrs Maha Dalmoujal Sabousi, an emirati national from Dubai, was notified moments after the draw, which was watched live by thousands of Sama Dubai TV viewers.
In total 16,318 prizes, worth an astounding AED 4 million, were awarded in less than 10 minutes at Saturday’s draw. The second draw also marked the beginning of an ongoing partnership between National Bonds Corporation and Sama Dubai TV, which will broadcast each monthly draw live at 9pm.

National Bonds’ winners were instantly notified via SMS after the draw. The 16,318 winning bond numbers are available on the National Bonds website, www.nationalbonds.ae, through the Bond Tracker link, and will be announced on selected radio and TV stations.

To date, the response to National Bonds since the launch of sales on the 18th of March 2006 has been overwhelming, with more than AED 230 million worth of bonds sold. The unique Shari’a compliant saving scheme has already encouraged more than 100,000 people to start saving.
