Emirates NBD the largest bank in the region in terms of assets, announces the completion of the Special Electronic Channels Mega Promotion that ran for two months during the summer season. Through this promotion, 40 customers were rewarded for using electronic banking channels, winning cash prizes of AED 5000 each.
The promotion was designed around the concept of enhancing customer convenience. By using these electronic banking channels, which are Internet Banking and SMS, ATM machines, and Cash Deposit Machines customers were able to save time and effort.
Commenting on this promotion, Mr. Mohammed Al Falasi, Senior Vice President and Head of Direct Sales and Alternate Channels at Emirates NBD said, “We believe that the results of our developed electronic banking channels will have long-term significance in changing the face of banking as our customers know it. We are investing in the future of banking because we believe that over recent years, we witnessed an increase in customer expectations in regards to standards and electronic service levels. This has led to a corresponding investment in technological developments that the bank has been continuously adopting.”
The electronic banking channels gave Emirates NBD customers the opportunity to conduct their daily transactions through the use of electronic banking services. To win, participants had to conduct any or all of the following transactions: cash withdrawals and deposits, cheque deposits, money transfers, credit card payments, bill payments to Etisalat, DEWA, RTA, Salik, Dubai Police, Emaar, Du, Box Office, FlyDubai, Air Arabia, AADC, ADDC, Empower and Palm Utilities.
Emirates NBD has an extensive branch network across the UAE with over 110 branches, and further vigorous expansions are currently underway. In addition to these outlets, Emirates NBD has more than 575 ATMs and CDMs along with other electronic banking facilities which are available for customers to use at their convenience.
