After four consecutive years of involvement as sponsors of the annual Leading European Architects Forum (LEAF) Awards, Emirates Glass, a subsidiary of Glass LLC which is wholly-owned by Dubai Investments PJSC, has announced its continued support of the prestigious global event by sponsoring the LEAF Awards 2010 edition, which will take place at the Intercontinental Park Lane Hotel in London on September 10th. This year’s event will once again highlight the intensity of this international competition which comprises 11 categories in architecture and building technology. The 2010 event is expected to be attended by more than 400 industry professionals from around the world, and will conclude with the presentation of the Emirates Glass LEAF Awards by Ziad Yazbeck to the winners. The 2009 Emirates Glass LEAF Awards honored cutting-edge projects from some of the world’s most celebrated architects, with leading names such as EAA-Emre Arolat Architects, David Chipperfield Architects, Woods Bagot and Atelier Bruckner GmbH figuring among the winners.
