As part of its corporate social responsibility and in line with the spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan, Emirates Gas (EMGAS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of ENOC, has joined hands with Beit Al Khair Society to support disadvantaged families.

EMGAS, with the help of Beit Al Khair Society, has provided 300 families from Dubai & Northern Emirates with free LPG refill throughout the Holy Month.

Saeed Abdullah Khoory, ENOC Group Chief Executive, said: “We are privileged to be of assistance to these families during the Holy Month of Ramadan, which instills in us the values of generosity and charity. As a social responsible company, we always aim to make meaningful contributions to the community. Throughout the year, we have led several community-focused campaigns aimed at strengthening socio-economic welfare, and thus bring smiles and hope to disadvantaged people.”

Beit Al Khair society was established in 1989 by a team of philanthropists to support underprivileged people in the society.

Abdeen Taher Al Awadi, General Manager of Beit Al Khair Society, said: “The campaign by Emirates Gas reflects the company’s commitment to helping the less fortunate segment of the society, such as poor families, widows, and orphans. The campaign also aims to achieve social unity and integration - a concept encouraged by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President & Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.”

Emirates Gas is the largest supplier of LPG in the UAE and the market leader, supplying a variety of LPG products and propane used in industrial, commercial establishments and residential areas.  Its range of eco-friendly products - Cutting Edge Gas, Pro-Power and Emirates Gas Aerosol Propellant (EGAP) - supports efforts in curbing pollution and driving sustainable development.
