Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE's Minister of Education, on Sunday opened the eighth convocation of Zayed University amid large participation of prominent officials, academics and international educationists.
Addressing the two-day gathering, Sheikh Nahyan stated Zayed University had, over the past seven years, "changed the academic landscape of the UAE and region." "We have also had a significant impact on the economic and cultural life of both Dubai and Abu Dhabi," said the Minister, who is also President of the University.
