ALBAWABA - An earthquake was felt in China and Kyrgyzstan, according to initial reports by the US Geological Survey (USGS) on Thursday.
The USGS reevaled that a notable quake (5.8-magnitude) struck Tumxuk county in northwestern Xinjiang province of China.
The Economic Times said that a 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck China's Xinjiang region near Kyrgyzstan.
Sources revealed that the quake took place at 1.14 p.m. IST.
No reports have been released yet regarding structural damage or casualties.
