Dubai Outsource Zone Hosts High-Level Jordanian Delegation

Dubai Outsource Zone, the world's first free zone dedicated to the outsourcing industry and a member of TECOM Investments, today announced it received a high-level delegation from Jordan's Development Zones Corporation (DZC).

The delegation included senior representatives from DZC's King Hussein Bin Talal Development Area, Northern Development Corp, Int@j and USAID Jordan Economic Development Program (SABEQ). A regional centre for trade and the movement of goods from all over the region and the world with an upcoming airport and railway link, DZC offers investment opportunities in the industrial sector, logistics, housing and commercial services.

The Jordanian delegation headed by His Excellency Samer Asfour, Commissioner for Investor Services and Development, DZC, was received by the senior management team at Dubai Outsource Zone led by Ammar Malik, Director of Operations. CEOs, Commercial Directors and Economic Advisors were part of the delegation that aimed to establish potential partnerships with the TECOM Investments business park.

The Jordanian delegation was briefed by the DOZ team on its successful business model and the region's exceptional industry practices. The presentation also provided details on the early stages of the business park and its subsequent year-on-year growth. Some of the key initiatives that have contributed to developing DOZ into one of the world's leading outsourcing hubs were also highlighted during the presentation following which the visitors were escorted on a site tour.
