Dubai Knowledge Village (DKV), the region's premier destination for human resources management and a member of TECOM Investments, today announced it organised the 10th TECOM SME Builder with a focus on sales efficiency.

Sponsored by Emirates NBD and held at Dubai Knowledge Village Conference Centre, the session held on 18 February featured a presentation entitled ‘The impact of sales efficiency’ by Peter Heredia, Managing Director of Maxsale Solutions. The event was attended by 120 representatives from small and medium enterprises.

The presentation focused on three simple steps to improve sales force efficiency and drive better performance. These included identifying key activity areas for the company, establishing a sales process and driving improvements through measurement tools, training, workshops and coaching that will enable the team to drive and track performance.

An initiative of DKV’s Partner Development Management (PDM) department, the TECOM SME Builder provides an ideal environment for owners of small and medium enterprises to upgrade their business management skills and establish greater synergy within their respective entrepreneurial segments.

The event is organised with the expert involvement of TECOM Investments’ business partners such as Al Tamimi & Company, Bayt.com, Deloitte, Reputation Inc, Flagship Consultancy, Wilson Learning, Maxsale Solutions, Third Eye, Innovabia.

Dr. Ayoub Kazim, Executive Director of Dubai Knowledge Village and Dubai International Academic City, said: “The partner development events provide an open forum for industry experts and executives from diverse companies to come together and gain new insights. The initiatives are part of Dubai Knowledge Village’s commitment to developing the human capital of the UAE and the region by promoting best practices.”

The Partner Development Management (PDM) department has successfully conducted 185 workshops and seminars that have attracted over 21,000 professionals to date. Launched in January 2007, it aims to support business partners through fostering their interaction with the TECOM community as well as other industries, maximizing their exposure and visibility, and helping them reach their target market via building appropriate marketing channels.

The DKV Training Open Week and the DKV Breakfast Club are also among the initiatives spearheaded by Dubai Knowledge Village.
