Dubai Internet City Hosts One-Day Road Show for Small and Medium Enterprises

Dubai Internet City (DIC) recently hosted a road-show for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) based in the UAE in association with SME Advisor, a regional title brought out by Corporate Publishing International (CPI).

The focus of the one-day event included topics such as 'Financing Growth', 'Management and HR', 'Labour Laws' as well as 'Protecting Trademarks and Intellectual Property'. A panel discussion and complimentary one-on-one consultations by industry experts were also part of the event that aimed to assist small and medium enterprises face the challenges. It additionally highlighted the advantages and future growth potential for the business community in the region.

Panellists at the event included Majed Al Suwaidi, Director Business Development at Dubai Internet City and Dubai Outsource Zone; Howard Gaunt, Executive Vice-President and Head of Business Banking Group, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank; Samir Kantaria, Partner, Head of Employment and Corporate Advisory Group, Corporate Commercial, Al Tamimi and Company; Manoj Nakra, COO, Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for SME Development; Dave Crane, Managing Director, The Life Designers; Dan Stuart, CEO and Co-founder, Go.Nabbit.com, and Ronaldo Mouchawar, CEO of Souq.com.
