Dubai eGovernment gives away attractive prizes to winners of competition held during DSF 2008

Dubai eGovernment today (Monday, April 07, 2008) announced the names of the 15 winners of the competition it organised during this year’s Dubai Shopping Festival, and presented them with various electronic gadgets as prizes. In all, the competition drew more than 1,000 participants from different nationalities, and 15 were selected from those who answered the questions correctly.

Participants in the contest stood a chance to win prizes by answering nine questions from the booklet available at the Dubai eGovernment DSF 2008 stand at Global Village and Al Seef Road. All the questions - pertaining to Dubai eGovernment and the array of eServices it offers – were posted on the Dubai eGovernment portal www.dubai.ae and the participants were required to email or fax the answers.

“I congratulate all the winners and participants of this competition for their effort; the major response generated by this contest is a reflection of the increasing awareness about Dubai eGovernment and its electronic services. Our primary goal is to ease the lives of people in Dubai by offering a range of reliable, easy and efficient eServices to visitors, residents and businesses in the emirate, and we are pleased with the progress we have achieved to date,” said Salem Al Shair, eServices Director, Dubai eGovernment.
