Dubai customs takes part in Willington University Career Fair
Dubai Customs would participate in the events of Willington University Career Fair scheduled to take place on Wednesday 25th March 2009 at the Knowledge Village in Dubai, a move aiming at offering career opportunities available in Dubai Customs to the highly qualified UAE national youths.
Over 20 private organizations would be participating in the exhibition as well as Dubai Customs being the only government participant.
Dubai Customs would be having its own stand showcasing the available recruitment opportunities and application methods. Different handbooks identifying Dubai Customs` core business and role in serving the local community and contributing to its growth and welfare would be given out to students.
The other participating companies and organizations have secured their own stands where each would be offering the available career opportunities enabling students and graduates to apply for whatsoever fitting them. Students would in turn submit their profiles seeking jobs matching their capability and competency.
The exhibition would be attended by almost 300 graduates or those who are about to graduate from University of Willington to view career opportunities being offered by the participating organizations.
Mr. Abdul Rahman Al Saleh, Executive Director of Corporate Affairs at Dubai Customs said: “Our participation in the event of this exhibition comes as part of Dubai Customs keenness to make job opportunities available to UAE national youths and attract national competencies who seek to substantiate themselves. Dubai Customs always concerns with providing all possible recruitment opportunities for our youths as to demonstrate their abilities and talents whilst working with customs’.
“Dubai Customs consistently takes part in all career fairs that held by different organizations in Dubai and UAE. It provides greater opportunities for UAE national talents proceeding from its keenness to effectively participate in achieving the overall social and economic development in Dubai. It looks forward to providing UAE youths with all possible means and facilities helpful for steadily starting their career and qualifying them for making success and superiority when entering the labor market’, he added.
