DSF 2009 presents a feast with ‘Sadia’s Biggest Biryani Bowl’
DSF 2009 is all set to prepare a feast for residents and visitors in Dubai when the ‘Sadia’s Biggest Biryani Bowl’ event takes place on February 6 at 4pm in Global Village. Weighing over 2500 kilos, around 30 chefs with the help of cooks and butchers will prepare the popular dish.
It is estimated that over 10,000 people will be able to taste the massive biryani. 1200 kilos of rice, 800 kilos of boneless chicken, 48 kilos of Biryani masala, 155 litres of oil, and 320 litres of yoghurt, besides other ingredients will go into making the biryani.
The record breaking mammoth event is held under the auspices of DSF and arranged by TeleLIFE, Federal Foods, Sadia, Daawat, and Shan in association with The Emirates Culinary Guild, The Emirates Flight Catering Co., Radisson SAS International Hotel, Barakat Quality Plus, and Radio 89.1 FM
