Former Managing Director at Siemens fin4cast to Join the Market Neutral Specialist
Rose & Sky Group, a specialist for market neutral investments and strategies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Miroslav Mitev as Head of Risk Management of Rose & Sky Investments AG and Investment Committee Member of Rose & Sky Investments (Cayman) Ltd.
Dr. Miroslav Mitev has more than a decade of extensive leadership experience in development and management of innovative investment strategies for leading financial institutions. He is an internationally well recognized expert in financial forecasting, risk and portfolio management.
In his role as Head of Risk Management at the fund adviser Rose & Sky Investments AG, Dr. Mitev will be responsible for overseeing the entire risk management process and for the implementation of state-of-the-art risk management systems to address the expected regulatory and investor needs and requirements.
Dr. Mitev was a managing director and head of securities research and portfolio management at Siemens fin4cast. Dr. Mitev started his career at the Bank Austria’s CA IB Investmentbank AG where he was responsible for the quantitative research of the securities research division.
Dr. Mitev is a distinguished speaker at international conventions on asset management, liability driven investing, alternative investments, portable alpha, advanced quantitative studies, algorithmic-trading and system research. Dr. Mitev received a Master in finance from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. Dr. Mitev also received a PhD in Economics from Karl-Franzens-University in Graz (Austria).
To carry out his responsibilities, Dr. Mitev is closely collaborating with Mark Rosiefsky, Managing Partner of the Fund Manager and Chairman of Rose & Sky Investments AG and with CEO Manuel Ebner, joining Rose & Sky from BZ Bank as of 1 May 2009.
