ALBAWABA - The death toll since the start of the war in the Gaza Strip has jumped to over 50,000, sources in the Gaza Health Ministry confirmed on Sunday.
The number of injuries in the ongoing war on Gaza has jumped to 113,274, the ministry revealed, adding the death toll reached 50,021.
On Saturday, the ministry confirmed that airstrikes on Gaza injured 263 Palestinians, who were taken to hospitals.
The Israeli army announced on March 19 the resumption of attacks on the Gaza Strip and the end of the ceasefire deal agreed between Hamas and Israel in January.
A ceasefire was reached in January and the first phase included the release of some Israeli hostages in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails. The first phase ended on March 1 and when no new deal was reached, the war returned.
