The Cyprus Cabinet has approved a 50,000 pound-aid package for the Palestinians, the official CNA news agency reported Thursday.
The announcement was made by Government Spokesman Kypros Chrysostomides following Wednesday's Cabinet meeting. He said that the approved program provides for training of Palestinian Authority officers in such areas as tourism, internal security, trade and agriculture, the agency added. (Albawaba.com)
