Corporatejets XXI places Falcon 900C into Saudi Arabia

Corporatejets XXI, the Barcelona-based executive charter company  has reached an agreement with a private company  based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to position its Falcon 900C with them for an indefinite term.  Under the terms of the agreement the aircraft will be used for the Saudi company’s corporate use,  as well as being available for third party charter to clients based in the Middle East.

The Riyadh-based company will pay for the hours they use,  and will also, in conjunction with Corporatejets XXI, sell charter flights under their Spanish Air Operators Certificate.   In readiness for the jet’s arrival in the Middle East Corporatejets XXI, has also appointed a sales agent to develop charter sales.

“In the current European economic climate we had to look at where the aircraft was going to fly the most hours.  Having been approached by this company at MEBA last year  and after continued discussions, we decided this would be a good opportunity for us,” commented Jacint Puigmarti, Commercial Director for Corporatejets XXI.   “It also made sense as Dubai is already a crowded charter market, whilst in Saudi there are fewer competitors, yet it is an expanding market,” he added.

The  Falcon 900C will remain under Corporatejets XXI management and the operator will provide full crews on rotation.  Line maintenance will be carried out in the Middle East whilst major maintenance requirements will see the aircraft return to the manufacturers Dassault in Paris, The jet is due to move to its new home in the next few weeks once the final paperwork and permits have been approved, and will remain there as long as the aircraft is fulfilling the expected hours.

Corporatejets XXI also confirmed with Dassault Aviation at EBACE 2009 that their new Falcon 2000LX will be delivered on schedule in October so bolstering the existing fleet of the Falcon 900C and 2 Citation XLS. The brand new aircraft will be based in Barcelona.
