Commercial Bank International (CBI), today formally unveiled its new corporate identity at a special function attended by distinguished guests including clients, government officials, dignitaries from the official sector and media representatives.
The new corporate identity represents a significant landmark for the bank. It is now all set to capitalise on its history & heritage and step into a new chapter in its progressive journey. From its brand new look to its method of operations and from its core values to its management team, the unveiling of its new corporate identity represents a new beginning in every aspect.
The new corporate identity reflects the core values of CBI’s retail, commercial and corporate units, which revolve around progress, customer-centric service and flexibility for making changes. In parallel with the new corporate identity launch, CBI has charted aggressive action plans to revamp its existing business units and introduce new divisions to make banking solutions within everyone’s reach. CBI has a host of innovative ideas in the pipeline, and will soon be introducing customized products to suit today’s evolving customer needs extending towards real estate, Islamic banking and brokerage services. Apart from its division extension, for the sake of customer convenience CBI has initiated a strong expansionary plan to reach out for customers across the UAE by doubling its number of branches from 8 to 15 and more than 50 ATM machines.
The nucleus of this ambitious makeover will be the bank’s concerted effort to be identified as an organisation that understands what people need and become the bank with all the answers. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Khamis Mohamed Buharoon, the chief executive officer at CBI, said, “This is an exciting new chapter in the history of CBI. Besides a new, high-powered management team that encompasses a new vision with a fresh spirit, the bank’s workforce has expanded to 400 professional staff, with a healthy contribution of 30% from the UAE Nationals. A well-defined five-year plan is in place with huge investments being allocated to re-engineer and support the bank’s new structure, divisions and its new areas of business. By the year 2010, the bank is committed to reaching an outstanding position within the banking industry in the UAE, and become one of the leading banks in the UAE that provides customers with differentiated services of the highest quality.
