Colombia's President Andres Pastrana met with Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder in Berlin Thursday.
Their talks, scheduled to last two hours, were expected particularly to focus on efforts to end Colombia's guerrilla wars and the human rights situation there in the light of repeated accusations of complicity between the army and militia forces in massacres.
Pastrana, who arrived in Germany Wednesday evening for an official visit , was greeted by Schroeder Thursday with military honours.
He is due Thursday also to meet with Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer and is scheduled Friday to give a talk to representatives of German industry – BERLIN (AFP)
