Clashes spark between police and protestors in Nairobi

ALBAWABA - Thousands of protestors stormed the streets in nationwide demonstrations across Kenya, causing for direct clashes with the police.

UPDATE

Protestors were able to break through the police barriers and enter the parliament compound. 

Police were seen using rubber bullets against young protestors in efforts to disperse demonstrations in the Kenyan capital Nairobi. Protesters yelled, "We are peaceful," as police opened fire on the crowd with rubber bullets and tear gas, as they barred the roads leading to the parliament entrance.
