Carbon Holdings has elected to license Univation Technologies’ UNIPOL™ PE Process for three 450KTA lines representing a total design capacity of 1350KTA. The licensed facility will be located in Ain Sokhna, Egypt.

One 450KTA line will be dedicated to HDPE and use Univation Technologies’ revolutionary single-reactor PRODIGY™ Bimodal Catalyst. Two 450KTA swing lines will manufacture LLDPE/HDPE and include the latest XCAT™ Metallocene Catalyst technology. “Our bid evaluation process focused upon technical reliability and commercial viability and we are very pleased to present the award to Univation,” said Charles J. Garfinkel, Chief Investment Officer, Carbon Holdings.
