A series of car bombs in and around the Iraqi capital of Baghdad left six civilians dead Sunday, according to AFP.
Security officials said four people were killed and nine others injured in Mahmoudiya, roughly 20 miles from the capital, while two others died in another car bomb attack in the Amil neighborhood of Baghdad.
The attacks come as Iraqi forces attempt to quell Daesh militants from the besieged Anbar province, AFP reports.
