Ambitious young professionals are invited to develop their leadership skills at the second annual Arab Leadership Forum hosted by Young Arab Leaders (YAL) in Bahrain next month.
The free forum aims to inspire young people to fulfil their leadership potential, provide them with critical skills and empower them to make decisions in their professional life to help them make a difference in their community, the region and the world.
YAL is now accepting applications for the event due to be held February 20-22 at the Gulf Hotel.
Shaikh Mohammed Bin Essa Al Khalifa, Chairman of YAL Bahrain, said the Arab Leaders Forum or ALF Initiative was launched to provide Arab youth with a transformational leadership experience to prepare them for the real world and potentially create greater opportunities.
“This year’s forum features some truly inspirational speakers who will challenge participants to embark on a path of personal and professional self-discovery, as well as highlight the qualities exhibited in some of the world’s greatest leaders. In an ever changing world, our young leaders need to become catalysts of change so they can take their country to the next step. The ALF Initiative aims to cultivate this potential in our youth.”
Speakers include leadership methodologist Paul Bridle, global thought leader and wealth strategist Manoj Sharma, corporate strategist Roger Konopasek and international business speaker Debbie Allen.
Mr Bridle will discuss developing the leadership mindset and how great leaders use their brains differently; Mr Sharma will look at how to stay ahead of the curve in a technologically advanced world, Mr Konopasek will investigate how individuals can adapt to remain relevant in a changing world; and Ms Allen will provide some guidelines on how to get from where you are now to where you want to go; .
The forum is open to all young Arab professionals living and working in the MENA region who have demonstrated a commitment to academics, have an established career with a track record of excellence and achievement, and the prospect of becoming a leader in their chosen field.
